Introduction
Oct. 4, 1957 is the significant date on the space age. It’s when Sputnik was born as the first artificial satellite.
In this  report I  will be talking about the satellite technology which was a revolution when it was first invented about 50 years ago and I will give some information on  how it was first started , how it developed , and where is it now .
The beginning
After a year of the soviets historical achievement in 1957 the American lunched the first American artificial satellite Score, and in 1962 the most important thing happened in the human history and that’s the artificial satellite Telstar 1 to make the first live television broadcast outside America and reached Europe.
The scientists spent the sixties to develop the live television broadcast and in 1964 the US watched the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Indeed this space competition between Soviets Union and United States had served the satellite world since then.

Thank you scientists!
Since the first live television broadcast, the scientists didn’t stop exploring the space and to learn more about the satellite technology and how they can share information with the other parts of the world this continues research had developed the satellite technology and to served the human by launching since the first satellite to reach 5500 satellites by 2007

Some of artificial satellites are divided according to their purposes to:
1.    The communication satellites for information exchange, radio, telephone, and television services
2.    The Weather satellites for knowing the weather conditions
3.    The Spy satellites for military purposes
4.     The Navigation satellites for locations, mapping
Indeed the artificial satellites influence at the human history had encouraged the scientists during the last 20 century to develop the satellite technology purposes and to develop space sciences.

Artificial satellites control today’s World
The artificial satellite revolution brought lots of changes on human lifestyle, from distance learning schools & organizations to mobile phones revolution to telecommunications services and more.
On today world it’s no more about leading ships safe to its ports or broadcasting an Oscar ceremony to the whole world. The artificial satellite could bring peace or means war, using this technology could lead to a political change or to use it to spy on your neighbors or far away countries.

Conclusion:
This developed technology tells you what to wear in order to face a sudden rainy day. And if you’re planning to travel, your car or mobile navigation system can save you from getting lost.
Satellites technology has transformed dreams to real things what our fathers would think few decades ago it’s something amazing or impossible, on today’s world it became true.
